Summer’s lazy days.

No classes, no drama.  Just a beautiful park to walk, hike, and disc.  Don’t forget romantic (or not) picnics, morning fishing and just laying in the grass staring at the sky ( don’t worry the ranger won’t bug you).  Stop on by!

Thanks FBC Volunteers!

Thanks to Dustin Howard, Carl Alwine and Matt Barner for their service in teaching Disc Golf Basics!

Well, I kow this post is late, but what a Spring!  First we kicked off (kinda) with a fishing program in the Moat Room.  Brothers of the Wind Living History Group taught us how to fish with cane poles and rope!

Ferrettie Baugo Creek Staff wants all those who actually pay in the box when we are not here that we appreciate you!  Please note that the income we recieve from disc golf helps keep our park open, helps keep a course in the neighborhood, and helps us improve our disc golf program.  Thanks again!

We had a great season this winter! We were cut short, but most people who came out were able to slide down our tubehill, get some hot chocolate and shoot the breeze with our wonderful staff.

No one entered the photo contest, but maybe next winter.

Now for Spring! We have new Innova discs in the  FBC Pro Shop.  We also have snacks for hungry golfers!

Come in pick out the discs you need and get ready for Spring ! Also, be on the lookout for family fishing fun and other programs!

winter-picsNot only has tubing begun, but we are embarking on our first online photo contest.  Do you think you have the cutest shot of your young tuber, a great shot of the park?  Enter your pics from now until February 1st and the winner will receive 2 tube tickets!  Just send photos to jfernanders@sjcparks.org with your name, phone number, permission to use the photo and names of prominent people in the photos.  I will post all appropriate content and then we will vote!

Welcome to our newest feature!  On a regular basis we will bring you a brief bio on some of our park staff, including seasonal staff.

We kick of this feature with some tidbits about our head Ranger, Larry Arnold.  You may have seen him flagging you down for your disc golf payment, patrolling in the ranger truck, or lugging innertubes back and forth.  Larry is a valuable member of the team here at Ferrettie Baugo Creek County Park, and it is a blast working with him.
